When wedding presents are taken to the next level.

I wanted to make something uniquely special for my sister and her husband on their wedding day. With some input from them, I started with the idea to make a 3d printed metal sign that they could keep forever. The term “Mosebery” was coined by my sister and was a combination of her last name Stanbery and his last name Moser. I decided to use my mother’s handwriting of Mosebery as the basis for the sign.

Using some CAD trickery, I designed the custom sign and 3d printed it out of 17-4 stainless steel on a Markforged Metal-X. I then pinned and TIG welded the pieces and buffed the final assembly to a mirror finish. Needless to say, my sister and brother-in-law were ecstatic about their unique gift.
